Welcome!

My name is Taylor Odviar. Starting therapy can be challenging, and I’m so glad you made it here. Please feel free to send me a message and I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about starting therapy.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in Northern Indiana and I graduated from Indiana University in 2021 with a Master of Social Work degree. Prior to my graduate program, I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Goshen College. Throughout my collegiate career, I’ve simultaneously had the privilege of working with neurodiverse individuals in a variety of social service and behavioral health settings.

My practice specialties include Autism (ASD), Anxiety, Attention Deficit Disorders, Behavioral Issues, Bipolar Disorder, Chronic Impulsivity, Depression, Developmental Disorders, Dual Diagnosis, Education and Learning Disabilities, Grief, Impulse Control Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Life Transitions, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Oppositional Defiance (ODD), Self-Esteem, Trauma and PTSD.

My Mission…

My mission is to make mental health services more accessible to neurodivergent adults dealing with life’s many challenges. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and strengths-based.

It is my belief that our mental health is deeply intertwined with all parts of us (mind, body, and “soul”) and therefore it is imperative that we explore all areas thoroughly in therapy to best improve overall health.
